ACCIDENT BENEFIT CLAIMS

 Full Handling Assignments: Picano and Mustill’s extensive AB experience and file-closing approach provide top value to our clients over a wide service area. We handle all AB claims from a simple medical file, to catastrophic injuries and fraud investigations. We have extensive experience handling both adverse claims and claims involving serious injuries. Clients regularly chose us for their most “sensitive” or “challenging” assignments. We also specialize in the handling of AB claims with a WSIB component.

 File Closure Program: Our claims management and ADR experience is an asset which allows us to outperform the competition in respect to the analysis and settlement of older AccidentBenefit and Bodily Injury files which our clients want to better control and close, where possible. We regularly assume control of problematic or neglected files for our clients with a mandate to “fix” the files and negotiate reasonable, cost-savings settlements, whenever possible. Our staff has experience with all the Ontario AB plans, including OMPP.

 Task Assignments: We will be your initial “voice” and “eyes” in the accident benefit claims process. We will provide top-notch customer service, explaining to your customers benefits available to them and the AB process in a knowledgeable, caring manner. TORT BI CLAIMS—AUTO AND GENERAL LIABILITY

 Prompt, Detailed Investigations: Interviews of Insureds, Claimants and Witnesses and the completion of Scene investigations are much more effective when conducted immediately after an accident, or as soon as practical thereafter.  Within our company, we have several experienced claims assistants who are taking Insurance Institute courses and working towards becoming licensed Independent Adjusters. These individuals are available to provide telephone adjusting services for any line of business and on any basis required by the client. Supervision is always provided by an experienced, licensed adjuster.
