Ron began his insurance
career in 1981 with an international property and casualty insurer
in Toronto. He attained Claims Management positions within 3 years
and was responsible for claims throughout Ontario. He subsequently
gained National experience at both the Claims Management and Independent
Adjusting levels through the 1990’s before joining R. Picano Insurance
Adjusters Inc. in 1998. Ron was recognized as a partner in 2000
and the company operating name was subsequently changed to reflect
his contributions towards the company’s continuing success.
Ron’s blend of claims management and insurance adjusting experience
give him an important advantage over most other adjusters. He
diligently works all files towards settlement or closure. He
is an excellent communicator with a tenacious capacity for detail,
complimented by strong organizational skills. Clients usually
choose Ron to handle their most adverse and sensitive claims,
ranging from Catastrophic Injuries to claims where fraud is
suspected. Auto insurers use him regularly for their pedestrian
and cyclist claims.
