Ray Picano is the founder of our company,
having established R. Picano Insurance Adjusters Inc. in 1991.
Ray founded the company on a belief of honesty, integrity and
prompt service. He has grown the company by identifying and hiring
talented, experienced individuals who share these values.
Ray began his insurance career in 1971 with a major international
insurance company. Ray was responsible for major losses during
this period, reporting to the Claims Manager of Canada. It was
while with this company that Ray learned the claims management
approach of a large insurer. His experience was on a multi-line
basis.
Ray became an Independent Adjuster in 1975. He expanded his
multi-line claims experience during the next 15 years with a
small, regional firm. He earned his adjusting license in 1976.
By 1991, with a solid combination of independent adjusting experience
and insurance company contacts, Ray decided it was time to open
up his own “shop”. And the rest is history!
