Anthony began his
claims management career as a Private Investigator handling insurance
industry surveillance and background checks. He then moved on
to work as an Adjudicator with the WSIB and received extensive
medical and disability management training and expertise. He progressed
as a Corporate WSIB Consultant to private employers.
He subsequently entered the Insurance Industry as an Injury Specialist
handling initially OMPP claims and Bill 164 AB and Auto Tort claims.
He then headed the Bill 164 team for a Central Canada Independent
Adjusting firm. He subsequently joined a National Adjusting firm
where he handled all lines of business, from AB/Tort, BI to Property
claims. Later in his career he progressed to Supervisor -Injury
Unit and specialized in Serious to Catastrophic Injuries and this
continues to this day.
Among his varied skills, he has excelled in assisting Insurers
in dealing with the WSIB in respect to Independent Operators/Taxi/Courier
companies and their employees/claimants. He has been effective
in minimizing or eliminating exposure to AB or BI claims involving
the WSIB due to his skill sets and his contacts and training within
the WSIB.
