Picano & Mustill Insurance Adjusters
is a division of R. Picano Insurance Adjusters Inc., a firm that
was established by Ray Picano in January of 1991.
The company has evolved and adapted to the continuous legislative
and other changes that have reshaped the Industry throughout
the 90’s and the first few years of the new Century. As the
company grew, it did so with a focus on experience, proven talent
and personal integrity.
Ron Mustill, with a wealth of claims management and multi-line
adjusting experience, joined the company in 1998. Ron’s contribution
to company growth was recognized through full-partnership in
2000, prompting the operating name change shortly thereafter.
Elizabeth Kepes, Clive Wayne and Anthony Magagna were all added
in 2003, bringing to our company more diverse skills, contacts
and services, as outlined in our profile section. These additions
signaled the “growing up” of the company to the status of a
significant regional firm. The internal promotion of Erin Brooks
to a junior adjusting position rounded out what we believe is
an impressive and diversified staff.
Our six adjusters possess over 100 combined years of senior
claims handling experience, including Auditing, ADR, WSIB and
Corporate Disability. This experience includes a strong blend
of claims management and adjusting experience, which has resulted
in a cost-control, file closing focus. At Picano and Mustill,
we recognize that well-adjusted closed files lead directly to
new assignments.
